Role Summary/Purpose: As image and data analysis engineer you will develop Computer Vision and Data Analysis algorithms that enable the automatic interpretation and information extraction from ultrasound images and machine data. You will translate innovative ideas and algorithms in prototypes and software solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
  • Development of Computer Vision algorithms for automatic analysis and interpretation of ultrasound image or volume data, with an emphasis on Machine Learning
  • Implementation of prototypes for rapid validation of the solution of clinical problems
  • Analysis and interpretation of structured machine data
  • Development of efficient, scalable, reusable software
  • Exercise of collaborations with internal and external partners in the industrial and academic sectors in the areas of computer vision and machine learning
Qualifications/Requirements:

  • PhD in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering physics, etc., with an emphasis on Computer Vision and Machine Learning
  • Proven ability to write C ++ code for fast demonstrations of ideas as well as for efficient, scalable software solutions. Experience with ITK, VTK
  • Experience in the use of computer vision algorithms to real problems of medical imaging
  • Experience in the development of algorithms and solutions in the areas of image segmentation, registration, feature extraction, detection, classification
  • Experience in Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning
  • Experience with Python and / or MATLAB ®
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

For this position collective agreement provides a minimum gross salary of €
3.000,- / month, salary depends on experience and qualification and might be higher.
